Boys and Girls Club of North Simcoe - Midland Unit
The Boys and Girls Club of North Simcoe - Midland Unit is operating out of the formerly known Midland Youth Centre located at the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre, 527 Len Self Boulevard, Midland, Ontario. The program is open to youth from the ages of 7 to 17.
A Boys and Girls Club is a positive and safe place where children and youth can participate in quality programs and services that promote their healthy growth and development.
Our Club offers children and youth a safe place to channel their energies into positive, challenging activities that encourage personal growth, learning, community involvement and healthy living.
Club programs are affordable, flexible and emphasize the value of relationships with family, community, and others. Every program, whether nutrition, leadership development, sports recreation, reading circles, homework assistance, or day camps, promotes self-esteem and assists children and youth in their personal and social growth.
After School Program
Ages 7 - 12
Tuesday to Friday 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
- Our after school program is a fun and exciting way to spend some time making new friends! Our program offers homework help, healthy snack, gym time, crafts, games, and computer time everyday. Some of our special programs include guest speakers, rock climbing, and skating.
- The Program is open to all area youth and a Boys and Girls Club van will pick members up from any school in Midland.
Youth Program
Ages 13 - 17
Tuesday to Friday 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Our youth program offers a fun and relaxed environment for youth to come in and participate in games, movies, crafts, and so much more.
Hours of Operation:
Tuesdays to Fridays 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm (after school program, ages 7 to 12)
7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (youth program, ages 13 to 17 years)
Saturdays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm (ages 7 to 12)
11:00 am to 1:00 pm (ages 13 to 17, open gym time)
Ages: 7 years to 17 years old
Membership: $20.00/year (starting January 1, 2009)
Become a Member: To become a member of the Boys and Girls Club, Midland Unit is easy - Just come in with a parent or guardian and fill out a membership form. All membership cards will be issued when the new program year starts.
Membership Benefits: Your membership entitles you to unlimited access to all of our programs.
