​​Development Applications​

The Planning and Building Services Department is responsible for the processing and management of all development applications, including but not limited to Official Plan Amendments, Zoning By-law Amendments, Site Plan Control Approval, Plans of Subdivision, Plans of Condominium, Provisional Consent and Minor Variances.  A complete listing of application fees is set out in the Composite Fee By-law 2011-7.

On June 24, 2013, Council passed Official Plan Amendment 3 which establishes a mandatory Consultation Meeting with Town Staff for applications for a Plan of Subdivision, Plan of Condominium, Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law ​​Amendment, Provisional Consent and/or Site Plan Approval.  Applicants are also encouraged to consult with the Town for all other applications.  For those applications with a mandatory Consultation Meeting, a completed Consultation Form will be required as part of a complete application.  This form should be downloaded, and the relevant sections filled out, prior to the Consultation Meeting.

Notice Signs
