Proposed Development

The proposed Zoning By-law Amendment is to facilitate the development of a residential subdivision consisting of 453 units. The proposed Draft Plan of Subdivision will create 18 Blocks of land, which would comprise of 13 residential blocks, 4 common amenity/parkland blocks, 1 environmental protection block, along with the private condominium roads. Blocks 1-13 introduce a total of 453 residential units. Fifty-three (53) units will be provided as townhomes. Four hundred (400) units will be provided through residential apartments. In addition, the Applicants are requesting a rezoning of the lands from the current Residential Apartment and Residential Townhouse Holding (RA & RT-H) Zone to site specific Residential Apartment and Residential Townhouse zones in order to accommodate the proposed development. Lands identified by the Environmental Impact Study is proposed to be rezoned to Environmental Protection – EP Zone.
