The Midland Accessibility Advisory Committee (MAAC) consists of seven members with the majority of the members being persons with disabilities.
The Committee advises and assists the Town of Midland in promoting and facilitating a barrier-free Midland for citizens of all abilities (universal accessibility), including persons with disabilities. Through the review of municipal policies, programs and services and the identification, removal and prevention of barriers faced by persons with disabilities, it is anticipated that this goal will be achieved.
The Committee meets bi-monthly on the first Monday of the month. Additional meetings are scheduled as deemed necessary from time to time.
