  • Secured more than $35 million in grants and government funding.
  • Completed financial planning activities to meet provincial regulations related to asset management and development charge funding.
  • Provincial Innovation award received for use of Artificial Intelligence to Manage Water and Wastewater Infrastructure.
  • Completed first corporate naming sponsorship at the Bourgeois Community Centre.

Improve citizen comfort levels and reduce safety concerns.

End of Term Report Highlights

  • Crime Prevention through Environmental Design initiatives including lighting in the downtown,increased cameras, and park washrooms.
  • Council continued to advocate to County and Province for more funding for social services (including homelessness), building community partnerships, and hosting / participating in three Hope, Housing, and Health Symposium with partners including the County, Library, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, and other community partners.
