What to Expect
| Community Advisories | Timely notifications from the Town about issues or conditions directly affecting, or of interest to, most residents, including service reminders, significant weather events, safety information, fire bans, and other community‑impact updates. |

| Facility, Park & Road Closures | Notices about temporary or scheduled closures of Town facilities, parks, trails, and roads, including detours and access restrictions. Only major road closures that are expected to affect traffic or a large number of residents will be included in the News & Notices feed. |
| Flag Ceremonies & Proclamations | Flag raisings, flag lowerings, and official proclamations. |
| Planning Notices (Planning Act) | Notices of public meetings and updates on planning applications required under the Ontario Planning Act. Email distribution is for convenience only. |
| Media Releases |
Formal announcements from the Town that share significant updates with residents and media to raise public awareness about Town programs, initiatives, Council or administrative decisions, major projects, significant civic matters, holiday service impacts, and Town-hosted special events.

Engagement opportunities include surveys, public consultations, workshops, open houses, and other activities where feedback is actively sought and will be considered in decision-making.
