Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:

Be a registered charity under Section 248(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada) and must have a valid Canada Revenue Agency BN/Registration Number or a non-profit organization as defined in paragraph 149(1)(l) or (e) of the Income Tax Act;

Own and occupy a property that is taxed in either the Commercial or Industrial class; or be a tenant and occupy space in a property that is taxed in either the Commercial or Industrial class;

Be able to supply the municipality with any additional information as may be requested to substantiate the application.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted for each tax year. Separate applications(s) are required for each property assessment roll number. Applications may be submitted by the organization, their lawyer, paralegal or authorized representative. An application for a taxation year must be made after January 1 of the year and no later than the last day of February of the following year.
