Purpose
It is recognized that the Town owns and manages facilities and parks where alcohol consumption requires regulation. The Town of Midland has developed amunicipal alcohol policy to prevent alcohol-related problems that arise from alcohol consumption within its facilities and parks and to promote a safe, pleasant environment for those in attendance to enjoy and which will comply with Town policies and all legislation. By reducing the potential for alcohol-related problems, the Town of Midland and event organizers concurrently reduce their risk to liability actions.
