Midland proclaims National Dental Care Day 2026

Whereas, good oral health is an essential part of overall health and well-being, contributing to improved quality of life for people of all ages; and 

Whereas, preventive dental care, regular dental examinations, proper oral hygiene, and public education help reduce the risk of oral disease and promote healthier communities; and 

Whereas, National Dental Care Day recognizes the important work of dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, dental technicians, and all oral healthcare professionals who provide essential care and education to residents; and 

Whereas, increasing awareness of oral health encourages individuals and families to adopt healthy habits and seek preventive dental care throughout their lives. 

Now Therefore, I, Bill Gordon, Mayor of the Town of Midland, do hereby proclaim October 10, 2026, as National Dental Care Day in the Town of Midland and encourage all residents to recognize the importance of oral health and support efforts to improve dental health throughout our community.
