Midland proclaims Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day

Whereas, Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day is an annual event to celebrate the incredible service that public transit vehicle operators and workers provide in communities; and

Whereas, Transit Operators and workers play a vital role in ensuring passengers arrive safely to their destinations; and

Whereas, Many Midland residents rely on Transit’s regular and specialized services daily to get to work, school, events, or appointments; and

Whereas, When getting on or off Transit on March 18, say a little extra “thank you” to your transit operator to help celebrate Transit Operator and Worker Appreciation Day.
