Transit Detour due to Winterama

There will be a detour to the Penetanguishene Transit Route on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from approximately 10am to 1pm as a result of road closures for the annual Winterama Parade happening in downtown Penetanguishene. 

As outlined within the detour map, during the detour:

• the Penetanguishene bus will head east on Robert Street as usual before turning right onto Owen Street and proceeding back behind the Village Square Mall.
• Buses will travel along Edward Street until Maria Street where they will go northbound.
• After heading up Church Street, the detour will take buses east on Burke Street.
• Upon turning right on Beck Boulevard, the bus will rejoin the regular route towards Waypoint.
