Watch Midland Council meetings live on YouTube starting September 23

The Town of Midland is pleased to announce that, beginning with the Regular Meeting of Council on Wednesday, September 23, residents will be able to watch Council meetings live on the Town's official YouTube channel. This new livestream option expands public access to local government and makes it easier for residents to stay informed and engaged with municipal decisions.

Council meetings are an important opportunity for residents to learn more about the decisions, projects, and issues that shape our community. Meetings are typically held every three weeks on Wednesdays, starting at 2pm. Special meetings may also be scheduled throughout the year. Agendas, minutes, and meeting schedules are available through the Town's Council and Committee meeting portal.

The new YouTube livestream complements the Town's existing partnership with Rogers tv, which has long provided Council meeting coverage for Midland residents. Residents may continue to watch live Council broadcasts through Rogers tv, while YouTube offers an additional digital option.

Residents can subscribe to the Town's YouTube channel, youtube.com/@TownOfMidlandON, and opt in to receive notifications when Council meetings go live and when new videos are posted.
