The Town is committed to providing high-quality services that our residents and businesses rely on. The Finance Department is responsible for the Town’s financial management, offering leadership and guidance to staff, Council, and taxpayers.
Finance staff deliver a range of essential services, including:
- Preparing the annual budget and ten-year capital plan
- Administering the budget and calculating tax rates
- Managing capital financing and debenturing
- Overseeing municipal funds and investments
- Coordinating the year-end audit and preparing financial statements
- Managing accounts payable and bulk purchasing
- Providing regular financial reporting to Council
