Labour Day affected services & reminders
The Town of Midland advises residents of the following service impacts on the Labour Day, Monday September 7.
Mid-Pen Transit
There will be no Mid-Pen Transit service on Monday, September 7.
Bourgeois Community Centre
The Bourgeois Community Centre is open for a blood donor clinic only, 2pm–7pm.
Municipal Office Closure
Midland Town Hall, 575 Dominion Avenue, will be closed on Monday, September 7. While the office is closed, please note that online services are available to:

Simcoe County Services

Midland Harbour Marina: The Midland Harbour Marina remains open on Labour Day, 8:30am–6:30pm.
Pete Pettersen Boat Launch access: Effective May 1, 2026, permits are required to use the Pete Pettersen Boat Launch. Visit midland.ca/BoatLaunch for information.
Consumer fireworks: A Consumer Fireworks Permit is required to discharge consumer fireworks in Midland. Please visit midland.ca/FireworksBylaw for full regulations.
