For Immediate Release

(October 2, 2025 – Midland, ON) The Town of Midland is proud to share that the second annual Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament successfully raised $48,600 in support of Midland’s Community Grant Program.

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, players, and the community, these funds will be distributed to local not-for-profit organizations through the 2026 Community Grant Program. Applications for the program will open in the spring, offering vital support to groups making a difference in our community.

“I’m deeply grateful to everyone who made the second annual tournament such a success,” Mayor Bill Gordon. “The level of support this event receives speaks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors, players, volunteers, local organizations, and staff. Their support is making a real difference in our community.”

The Town thanks all of the 2025 Mayor’s Charity Golf Tournament sponsors including Kaitlin Corporation, The Sarjeant Co. LTD, Delbrook Group, For Sale on Georgian Bay, Bourgeois Automotive Group, Greenland Consulting Engineers, Newmarket-Tay Power Distribution, Compu-SOLVE, and Desjardins Ontario Credit Union, as well as local businesses and individuals who donated prizes and silent auction items.
