• What: Council Intends to Pass a By-law to Remove a Holding "H" Symbol.

• Why: To allow the construction of a new dwelling on the waterfront side of the property.
• Council Meeting: Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. (attend In-Person at the Town Hall or virtually on Zoom)

The Town’s Zoning By-law outlines the requirements for the removal of the Holding “H” Symbol. The requirements are:

1. Obtaining a Private Septic System Use Permit, Final Inspection Report or equivalent from the Chief Building Official or appropriate agency and,
2. Entering into a Private Street Agreement with the Corporation.

The Owner of the subject lands has fulfilled these requirements and has applied for a Zoning By-law amendment to remove the Holding “H” Symbol. Therefore, the Council of the Town of Midland will consider this proposed Zoning By-law Amendment to remove the Holding “H” Symbol.
