Community Safety Well-Being Plan
The North Simcoe Community Safety and Well-Being Plan (CSWB) Plan launched in 2021 as a collaborative initiative with Towns of Midland and Penetanguishene, the Townships of Tay and Tiny. The plan focuses on upstream strategies that will have positive impacts at the individual and community level, and outlines the commitment to work together towards improved social outcomes for our residents. The Who to Call poster is a quick-reference sheet with direct contact information for emergency and non-emergency services, and for local service providers who are able to provide a range of services, including, mental health, housing, and other community supports. |
2024 Hope, Housing and Health Symposium
The Town and Midland Public Library hosted conversation about community safety, homelessness, and substance use disorders in Downtown Midland on November 14, 2024.
