    Take notice, that the Council of the Town of Midland passed Town-wide and area specific development charges By-law 2025-21 on the 19th day of March 2025 under Section 2 (1) of the Development Charges Act, 1997, S.O., 1997 c. 27, as amended;

  • Warming and Relief Centres open in Midland

    Warming centres in Midland remain open based on community need and timing of power restoration. 

    Relief and Warming Centres:
    • North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre (527 Len Self Blvd) 
      • Open from 8:00am to 10:00pm 
    • Town Hall (575 Dominion Avenue)
      • Open from 8:30am to 4:30pm

  • Midland ends Significant Weather Event!

    Thank you to the community for your support and patience throughout the last few weeks. Winter maintenance will continue during the day and overnight. Remember to avoid parking on roadways and to stay a safe distance away from maintenance vehicles. 

  • Midland Fire Department "pushes in" new pumper truck

    The Midland Fire Department has proudly continued a time-honoured tradition and welcomed their new 811 Pumper truck with an “in-service” ceremony!
