Detour Suggestion: Use parallel roads; Sixth Street or Fourth Street.

Why: Emergency road repair

4:30 pm Status: Repairs completed

11:00 am Status: Town crews onsite to repair the watermain break on Victoria Street.

Road Closures:

• Full road closure on Victoria Street, from Woodland Drive to Edmond Street.  
  • Residents living on Victoria Street with house numbers greater than 903 Victoria, and those living on Roslyn Court, should enter from Woodland Drive.
  • Residents living on Victoria Street with house numbers lower than 903 Victoria should be enter from Edmond Street.

Dominion Ave. and Cavana St. intersection (area of watermain break)

Road Closures:

• Dominion – between Eighth St. and Margaret St.
• Cavana – between Bay St. and Dominion Ave.

Cavana: local traffic only, access via Bay St. only

Dominion: Westbound: Eighth St. to Montreal St., then to Margaret St. returning back to Dominion Ave. (Reverse for Eastbound)

Family Day affected services:

• Town Hall - will be closed Monday, February 17
• Mid-Pen Transit - no service on Monday, February 17
• NSSRC - open regular hours on Monday, February 17

Due to the current inclement weather the Municipal office is closed for the remainder of the day (February 7, 2025). 

• Mid-Pen Transit Service has been cancelled for the remainder of the day. 
• North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre will be closed as of 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the day.

• Local traffic can enter from Ottawa St. 
• Residents in the area may experience low water pressure.
