Midland lifts Significant Weather Event declaration
The Significant Weather Event effective at 7:45pm on Sunday, December 28, 2025, has been declared over effective 3:30pm on January 6, 2026.
The Town is meeting Provincial Minimum Maintenance Standards related to roads and sidewalks, and motorists can park on Town streets outside of regular winter overnight parking restrictions.
So far this season, snow removal operations have included more than 600 dump truck loads of snow hauled from downtown, cul-de-sacs, and sightline visibility areas on high-traffic roads in Midland. The Town thanks the community for their patience and understanding throughout the Significant Weather Event as our Operations crews worked tirelessly.
Crews continue their diligent efforts; please help them by giving their vehicles and equipment enough room to do their jobs safely and effectively.
