Route 93 Innovation Hub
The Town of Midland partners with other North Simcoe communities (Penetanguishene, Tay and Tiny) to collaborate on economic development in the North Simcoe area through Route 93 Innovation Hub. Route 93 is a not-for-profit corporation governed by a Board of Directors which includes representation from each of the four municipal councils. The Town contributes to the operational sustainability of Route 93 through our annual budget process.
Economic Development Strategy
The Town is currently developing an Economic Development Strategy (EDS) that will provide a clear roadmap to support Midland’s economy and advance the Town’s vision of a complete community. It will identify strategic actions to attract investment, support local businesses, create jobs, and enhance quality of life. Developing a strategy will ensure the Town takes a proactive, community-driven approach to economic growth.
