The Bourgeois Community Centre is the Town's primary indoor recreation facility and a key hub for community recreation, sport, fitness, meetings, events, and tournaments. Annually, the BCC hosts approximately 350,000 visitors per year. The facility includes two arena pads, a double gymnasium, community hall, meeting and program spaces, and supports year-round recreation programming for residents and visitors. The facility hosts a wide range of activities including minor hockey, figure skating, public skating, tournaments, school sports, day camps, recreation programs, community events, meetings, and private rentals. These activities generate regular opportunities for food and beverage service throughout the year.

The Town is seeking a long-term operating partner capable of delivering high-quality, affordable, and customer-focused concession services that enhance the experience of facility users, tournament participants, community groups and visitors.

The successful proponent will enter into a Licence Agreement to Operate a Municipal Concession.
The successful proponent will be responsible for providing all labour, inventory, supplies, maintenance, cleaning, customer service, and day-to-day operational management necessary to operate the concession. The Town is seeking a partner that demonstrates operational excellence, strong customer service, flexibility, and a commitment to supporting the evolving needs of the Bourgeois Community Centre through annual service planning and continuous improvement.

The Town is seeking a long-term operating partner rather than simply the highest financial return. Proposals will be evaluated on overall value, including experience, operating approach, menu offerings, customer service, capital investment, and financial return to the Town.
