Community Vision: Midland 2050

Community Vision: Midland 2050

Community Vision: Midland 2050 is a community-wide initiative to define our shared aspirations, values, and priorities to guide Midland’s growth and decision-making through the year 2050.

This project will bring together residents, businesses, community groups, Indigenous partners, and visitors to help shape a long-term vision that reflects who we are today and where we want to go—socially, environmentally, economically, and culturally.

Purpose

Midland is changing. Population trends, economic shifts, housing needs, climate considerations, and community expectations are evolving. A long-term Community Vision helps us:

  • make decisions that are informed by community input and lived experience.
  • plan proactively for growth and change.
  • coordinate priorities across Town services and community partners.
  • measure progress using shared outcomes and indicators.

Project Timeline

Community input is at the heart of Midland 2050. Engagement opportunities will include surveys, pop-ups, workshops, focus groups, partner sessions, and online participation options.

Future dates are subject to change.
