Cancellations, Closures & Service Disruptions

King Street and Little Lake Park Road are impacted by the upcoming Downtown Midland Tree Lighting  and Midland Civitan Santa Claus Parade events.

Ellen Street, Queen to King, is temporarily closed from November 17–21, 2025. If inclement weather is experienced, this closure will be extended to November 22, 2025.

King Street will be impacted by rolling road closures on Remembrance Day.

The Midland Municipal Office, located at 575 Dominion Avenue, will operate reduced hours on Friday, November 14, to accommodate a staff event. Online services remain available.

On Tuesday, November 11, the Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the Midland Cenotaph starting at 10:45am, followed by a parade from the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre to the Midland Legion.

• October 15, 2025 from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Why: Cross-Country School meets are happening in Little Lake Park today and tomorrow.

Set up a pre-authorized payment plan at the Municipal office:

• Visit the Municipal office to sign up for pre-authorized payment plans for water and property taxes. Bring a copy of your VOID cheque or the authorized banking information provided by your bank to complete your application.

Payments in person:

The municipal office will be closed on Monday, September 29, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. for an all staff general meeting. The office will be open Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. 

Midland's Recreation Centre, Harbour office and Mid-Pen Transit Service will not be affected by this closure...
