The Town of Midland’s 2026 Budget Public Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 26, 2025, at 2pm.
The meeting is being held in person at Town Hall, 575 Dominion Avenue, and online via Zoom.
This is your opportunity to formally comment on the proposed 2026 Budget. No pre-registration is required to make comments in person. Temporary Road Closure: Ellen Street

The Town of Midland and King Infrastructure/CM Drain is conducting asphalt work on Ellen Street as part of the Ellen Street Reconstruction Project.
Ellen Street, Queen to King, is temporarily closed from November 17–21, 2025. If inclement weather is experienced, this closure will be extended to November 22, 2025.
A printed notice has been delivered to impacted residents in the area, where driveway access is restricted.

Today the Salvation Army flag was raised to recognize the Salvation Army 2025 Kettle Kickoff. Mayor Bill Gordon has proclaimed November 13 to December 24, 2025, as “The Salvation Army 2025 Kettle Kickoff” in Midland:

Midland's Community Safety Speed Camera program has ended

In accordance with Provincial legislation, the automated speed cameras that are installed in the school zones on William Street and Yonge Street are no longer operational, and penalty orders are no longer being issued.
All penalty orders that were issued for speeding infractions up to and including November 13, 2025, remain valid. Payment is the responsibility of the vehicle owner. Payment and appeal options are set out on the back of the penalty order.
