Advertising Guidelines for Midland Transit

• Design and Production: Advertisers are responsible for hiring a contractor to create their ad. The contractor must be approved by the Town of Midland.

• Content Approval: All advertisement proofs must be submitted to the Town of Midland for review and approval before installation.

• Installation and Duration: The Town will handle the installation of approved ads. Contra-vision or vinyl wrap ads must remain in place for a minimum of 2 years. Early removal will be at the advertiser’s expense.

Midland Transit Advertising - Terms & Conditions

• All advertisements must be approved by the Town of Midland prior to installation.
• Regular framed advertisements require a minimum 12-month agreement.
• Contra-vision or vinyl wrap ads must remain in place for at least 2 years. Early removal costs $200 and is at the advertiser’s expense. Those interested in contra-vision must coordinate with the Town and cover all design and implementation costs.
• Advertisers must use a contractor approved by the Town of Midland.
• All advertisements must follow the Canadian Code of Advertising Standards. Ads promoting tobacco, alcohol, religion, or political content are not permitted.
• All advertising is subject to the Town's Sponsorship, Advertising & Charitable Giving Policy. 
• If a bus is permanently taken out of service, the Town will transfer the ad to a replacement vehicle at no cost.
• Interior overhead ads must be printed on 1/16" styrene plastic with a height of 11 1/8". Width can be discussed with the Town.
• No compensation will be provided for bus downtime or repairs.
