Midland Fire Department Receives Pawesome Donation

Paws up! The Midland Fire Department is committed to helping our furry friends during fire emergencies with an equipment donation of pet oxygen masks from Invisible Fence Brand of South Central Ontario Inc! 

Invisible Fence® Brand created Project Breathe™ is a pet oxygen mask donation program designed to provide oxygen mask kits to fire departments and other first responders. Each kit includes a small, medium, and large mask; the Midland Fire department received two kits from Project Breath™.

The oxygen mask kits are specially designed for our four-legged pals. These masks are designed to provide a comfortable and secure fit for pets, helping our firefighters provide life-saving oxygen support for our beloved pets. 

Tens of thousands of pets die each year in fires, most succumbing to smoke inhalation. Many emergency responders lack the equipment to resuscitate pets. Invisible Fence® Brand’s Project Breathe™ program provides pet oxygen mask kits to fire departments and first responders in the U.S. and Canada. They have donated over 30,000 masks and saved hundreds of pet lives since 2007.
