Inclement Weather Office Closure for February 7

Due to the current inclement weather the Municipal office is closed for the remainder of the day (February 7, 2025).
- Mid-Pen Transit Service has been cancelled for the remainder of the day.
- North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre will be closed as of 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the day.
For after-hour emergencies related to water, sewer or roads please call 705-527-8274.

For the safety of Mid-Pen riders and motorists on the roads, both Midland and Penetanguishene transit routes have been cancelled for the remainder of the day (February 7, 2025) due to severe weather conditions.

Notice of Public Meeting regarding Development Charges
Take notice that on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, the Council of the Town of Midland will hold a Public Meeting pursuant to The Development Charges Act, 1997, regarding proposed Development Charge rates and policies that will be applied throughout the Town and the areas of Tiffin by the Bay and Balm Beach. It is proposed that enactment of a Development Charges By-law by Council would occur on a date subsequent to the Public Meeting.
