Midland offers indoor and outdoor recreation facilities to support healthy living. From our beautiful sports fields, courts and diamonds, to our 118,000 square foot recreation centre with arena and gym, we’ve got you covered.
North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre (527 Len Self Boulevard)
This multi-purpose facility is home to two ice surfaces, a double gym, and versatile event and meeting rooms spaces. It is also home to many community organizations, including a senior centre and Boys and Girls Club.
A fully accessible community hub, our recreation centre has been used for various special events including weddings, receptions, sporting events, community events, fundraisers, craft shows, seminars, and meetings. The versatile spaces can accommodate gatherings of 15 to 1,400 people. Whether it’s a large-scale tournament or an intimate meeting, the NSSRC is the place for any occasion.

Midland's recreation centre is home to local sports organizations, a concession operated by Competitive Edge Snacks, a sports store and ice sharpening at Competitive Edge Sports, and the Midland's Sports Hall of Fame.

Celebrating the accomplishments and milestones of Midland's athletes, teams, and coaches, the Midland Sports Hall of Fame is a must-visit attraction inside Midland's recreation centre. Stop by the Bill Thompson room and take a walk through the past, there is no cost for entry.
