New Open Forum Feature at Council

Residents now have a chance to share their thoughts on items listed in the Regular Council Agenda through our Open Forum feature.

What is Open Forum? Open Forum is a brief opportunity for members of the public to speak directly to Council about an item on the agenda. Each speaker is allotted up to two minutes, and the total Open Forum period will not exceed ten minutes.

How to Participate:

• Review the Regular Council Agenda (available [insert link]).
• Sign the Open Forum Register with the Clerk before the meeting begins.
• Agree to follow the terms outlined in Section 9.5 a) of the Town’s Procedure By-law 2022-2.

Participation is at the discretion of the Mayor or Chair, and all speakers must adhere to the guidelines set out in the Procedure By-law.
