(September 19, 2025 – Midland, ON) Get ready for a week of celebrating Indigenous art and culture! The Town of Midland and its community partners are excited to host the fourth-annual Indigenous Art and Culture Awareness Week beginning on September 22.
This special event brings local organizations together to explore amazing talents from Indigenous creatives through music, food, literature, arts, crafts, and more.
The goal of Indigenous Art and Culture Awareness Week is to promote and preserve Indigenous traditions, stories, and practices. This community-driven project creates authentic experiences for everyone to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Indigenous art and culture in North Simcoe.
Don’t miss a thing! Start the week off by attending the Sunrise Ceremony with Patricia Monague at Huronia Museum, register now and enjoy this amazing ceremony followed by a community breakfast.
