Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in communities across Canada.

In 2024 and 2025, Midland was recognized as one of Canada's Top Participating Communities during Culture Days, ranking in the Top 10 Towns and Rural Areas.

Culture Days 2026

We look forward to highlighting events taking place in the North Simcoe area during Culture Days in the fall of 2026. Staff will be reaching out to organizations in North Simcoe in early 2026 to invite them to a planning roundtable. Please contact culture@midland.ca with any questions.
