Culture Days
Culture Days is a national celebration of arts and culture. At the end of each September, millions of people attend thousands of free participatory arts and culture events across the country both in-person and online. Culture Days programs invite the public to get hands-on and behind-the-scenes to highlight the importance of arts and culture in communities across Canada.
Culture Days 2026
Culture Days 2026 takes place September 18 to October 4. As an Ontario Culture Days Provincial Festival Hub, we look forward to showcasing arts, culture, and heritage experiences throughout North Simcoe.
Our Culture Days programming will be anchored by Indigenous Art & Culture Awareness Week, celebrating Indigenous artists, knowledge, traditions, and community through a variety of events and experiences. Visitors can also explore local heritage during Doors Open Simcoe County, which offers a unique opportunity to discover significant cultural and historical sites across the region.
