The Public Works Palooza is a hands-on community event showcasing the work that keeps our town running, from infrastructure and innovation to the everyday heroes behind it all.

Fuel your summer fun at the Town of Midland’s Public Works Palooza. Every May, join us for an event celebrating National Public Works Week and the essential services that keep our community safe.

Join us on May 23, 2026, from 11 AM to 2 PM at the Bourgeois Community Centre Parking Lot (527 Len Self Blvd) for a hands-on celebration of the trucks, tools, and teams that keep Midland running!

Event Highlights

Get an up-close look at the vehicles and equipment that keep Midland moving.
Sit in the driver’s seat and take control of tools from the water department.
Interactive games, prizes, and fun for all ages.
Enjoy lunch at the community BBQ.
Donations are accepted to support local food insecurity organizations.
