Bourgeois Community Centre
On November 28, 2025, the Town of Midland and Bourgeois Auto Group announced a new community partnership that will see the North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre renamed the Bourgeois Community Centre. Exterior signage and internal wayfinding updates reflecting the new name will be installed in early 2026.
At the heart of it all is our community centre, a fully accessible 118,000 sq. ft. facility featuring two NHL-sized ice surfaces, a double gymnasium, event spaces, and the Midland Sports Hall of Fame. From public skating and shinny to youth clubs and senior programs, the centre is a vibrant hub for sports, wellness, and social connection.
Our recreation centre is also home to the Midland Sports Hall of Fame, the Askennonia Senior Centre, and the BGC North Simcoe.
Outdoor Recreation
Beyond the arena, Midland boasts an impressive network of parks, trails, and outdoor amenities including baseball diamonds, soccer fields, tennis and pickleball courts, beach volleyball, disc golf, and a skatepark.
Community Organizations
