Starting May 1, 2025, the fare for Midland Senior Transit is $1.75 per ride.

Registering Your Card

If you are a Midland resident aged 65 or older, register for your Senior Transit Card at Midland Town Hall by bringing valid ID that confirms your age and proof of residency. See the other locations and operation hours below: 

  • Midland Municipal Office - 575 Dominion Avenue
    Hours:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre - 527 Len Self Boulevard
    Hours:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Midland Public Library - 320 King Street
    Hours:  Please visit Midland Library for hours of operation.
  • Penetanguishene Municipal Office - 10 Robert Street West
    Hours:  Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
  • Penetanguishene Public Library - 24 Simcoe Street
    Hours:  Please visit Penetanguishene Public Library for hours of operation

Frequently Asked Questions

To register your card online, go to midland.usetransit.com and create an account by clicking the Register button.  Once registered, the Smart Card may be added by selecting (+) Link an Existing Smart Card.

With the online transit portal, you can:

  • Create and manage your user account
  • Register and link one or more Smart Cards
  • Reload your Smart Card using a credit card
  • Set up auto-reload when your balance drops below a set amount
  • Report a lost or stolen card to deactivate it and request a replacement
  • View your transaction and usage history

You are responsible for your card. If your card is lost or stolen visit the Municipal office for a replacement card. A fee applies for replacement cards - Transit fee schedule
