Generally speaking, road construction projects are informed by the Town's Transportation Master Plan. Projects may include environmental assessment studies and detailed design, followed by construction.

Eighth Street Reconstruction

Status: Upcoming

Includes reconstruction and resurfacing on Eighth Street between Yonge Street and Hugel Avenue. Construction is expected to commence in June 2026.

2026 Sidewalks & Curbs Program

Status: In Progress

Each year, the Town undertakes targeted improvements to sidewalks and curbs to address aging infrastructure and ensure safe pedestrian travel.

2026 Road Resurfacing Program

Status: Upcoming

The annual Road Resurfacing Program ensures our existing infrastructure does not deteriorate beyond our target Pavement Condition Index.

Ellen Street Reconstruction

Status: Completed in June 2026

The Ellen Street Reconstruction project included reconstruction from King Street to Johnson Street.

Yonge Street Reconstruction

Status: Completed in June 2026

Included reconstruction and resurfacing from Second Street to Norene Street, King Street to Second Street and Norene Street to County Road 93.
