Service Impact – Unidirectional Hydrant Flushing
Unidirectional hydrant flushing takes place from May to October. Some residents may experience changes to their water service. Staff have started flushing in the final zone, residents living in the area outlined below may see a temporary drop in water pressure.
Where: Residents living on and around Lescault Rd. See full zone here.
When: September 11 – 30, 2023, flushing occurs Monday – Friday between the hours of 8:00am – 3:30pm.

Temporary Road Closure - Hugel Ave
Where: Hugel Ave from George St to Lindsay St.
When: Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 7:00am to Friday, September 8, 2023 at 5:00pm.
Detour: Road will be closed, utilize detours:
- Detour onto George Street to Elizabeth Street and then to Lindsay Street.
Why: New sanitary and water services to development property on Hugel Avenue.

Where: Taylor Drive from Aberdeen Blvd to North end of Taylor Dr.
When: Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 7:00am to Thursday, September 7, 2023 at 5:00pm.
Detour: Road will be closed, utilize detours:
- Aberdeen Blvd to Davenport St.
Why: Fixing Sanitary and storm maintenance holes in the roadway.

A third party company completing work on George Street has caused a watermain leak.
Current Status:
- George St. watermain leak has been repaired. Water pressure has been fully restored.
