Inclement Weather Municipal Office Closure - January 9, 2024

Due to the current forecasted weather, there will be interruptions to Municipal services:

• Municipal office has closed early January 9, 2024 at 3:30pm. The office is scheduled to reopen January 10, 2024 at 8:30am.
• Mid-Pen Transit Service is running as scheduled, however expect minor delays due to weather. 
• North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre remains open.

When: Monday, January 8, 2024 -  Friday, February 2, 2024 (approximately). 

Why: Scheduled maintenance.

Temporary Road Closures - Little Lake Park Rd and King St (Parade)

Temporary Road Closure - Little Lake Park Rd

Where: Little Lake Park Rd; starting from King St to Yonge St.

When: November 25, 2023 from 9:00am to 12:00pm. 

Why: Santa Claus Parade

Temporary Road Closure - King St (rolling closures)

Where: King St; starting from Colborne St to Bay St. 

When: November 25, 2023 from 10:00am with rolling closures until the parade has concluded.

Where: King St from Elizabeth St. to Hugel Ave.

When: Friday, November 24, 2023 at 5:00pm to 7:30pm

Detour Suggestion: Portion of King St will be closed;

• Detour onto Elizabeth St to First St to Hugel Ave to continue onto King St. 

Why: Downtown Midland Tree Lighting

Remembrance Day Closure - November 13, 2023

Municipal Closures observing Remembrance Day 

• The Town of Midland Municipal office will be closed Monday, November 13, 2023. Regular hours will return Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 8:30am. 
• No interruptions to the Mid-Pen Transit Service. Transit will be running on Saturday, November 11 and Monday, November 13.
