Where: Section of Bay Street is closed between Cavana Street to Watson Place. 

When: Today, July 29, 2025 until 5:00 p.m.

Why: Service leak repair. 

Other Information: 

• Full road closure, open to local traffic only.
• Use alternate routes.

Temporary Road Closure - Angela Schmidt Foster Road

Where: Road closure on Angela Schmidt Foster Road, from Marshall Road to Highway 93

When: July 21 to August 1, 2025

Why: Ongoing construction in preparation for asphalt work for the Angela Schmidt Foster Road Resurfacing Project. 

Other Information: 

• Access to properties will be maintained.
• Asphalt work to be completed August 2025.

Temporary Road Closure - Ellen Street

Where: Sections of Ellen Street will be closed between King Street to Johnson Street.

When: Starting June 2025 to November 2025 

Why: Ellen Street Reconstruction

Other Information: 

• Additional closures and interruptions may take place throughout the project area.
• Access to properties will be maintained.
• Use alternate routes and follow posted detour signage. 

Canada Day Affected Services - July 1, 2025

Canada Day Holiday affected services: 

• Town Hall - will be closed on Tuesday, July 1. 
• Mid-Pen Transit - no service on Tuesday, July 1.

• Midland Avenue (West side) - from Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue
• First Street (West side) - from Yonge Street to Hugel Avenue
• Fifth Street (East side) - from Quebec Street to Victoria Street
• Sixth Street (East side) - spot repairs only from Victoria Street to Vindin Street
• Dominion Avenue (North side) - from Fourth Street to Fifth Street
• Jones Road (East side) - section between Highway 12 and Prospect Boulevard
