When: Friday, June 9, 2023 - Saturday, June 10, 2023. Closing Friday at 5pm and re-opening Saturday at 7pm.

Where: 

• King Street from Yonge Street to Bayshore Drive
• Elizabeth Street from First Street to Midland Ave with soft closures at Bourgeois Laneway *
• Hugel Avenue from Borsa Laneway to Midland Ave with soft closures at Bourgeois Laneway*
• Dominion Avenue from Borsa Laneway to Midland Ave with soft closures at Bourgeois Laneway *

Hugel Avenue Partial Road Closure June 6 to 7

Hugel Ave., Midland - Partial Road Closure (Temporary) – June 6 and 7

Where: Hugel Ave. at Queen Street.

• one lane only with flaggers – access through Hugel remains open 

When: 

• Closed Tuesday June 6, 7:00 am
• Opens Wednesday June 7, 5:00 pm

Why: Storm Sewer Structure Installation – Hugel Ave.

Detours: None Required.  Open lane will be flagged

Return to Service:

• Wednesday June 7, 5:00 pm

 Note: if a full closure is required, notice will be provided.

County Road 93 Construction

County Road 93 - County of Simcoe Construction 

Location:  CR 93 from Hwy 12 to CR 25. (Yonge & Balm Beach Rd.)

Dates: May 1 to Sept. 30, 2023

Lanes Open: A minimum of two lanes ( one each way) will remain open on CR 93 during non-working hours, weekends, and holidays.        

Interruptions: Temporary closure of one lane on weekdays (excluding holidays) anticipated during working hours of 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Fridays preceding holiday weekends closures will end at noon.

Why: Queen Street Reconstruction Project, temporary closure. Local traffic only. 

Detours: 

• Southbound traffic on Queen Street will detour east on Hugel Avenue to Manly Street then back west to Queen Street on Elizabeth Street.
• Northbound Traffic on Queen Street will detour east on Elizabeth Street to Manly Street then back west on Hugel Avenue to Queen Street.
