Inclement Weather Office Closure for February 7

Due to the current inclement weather the Municipal office is closed for the remainder of the day (February 7, 2025). 

• Mid-Pen Transit Service has been cancelled for the remainder of the day. 
• North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre will be closed as of 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the day. 

For after-hour emergencies related to water, sewer or roads please call 705-527-8274.

Winter maintenance on parks and trails in Midland

During the colder season, Midland's parks and trails are closed. This helps protect these outdoor spaces and limits potential damage. In some locations, barriers have been added to prevent use and ensure everyone's safety as there is no maintenance.

• Closing at 12:00 p.m. on December 24, 2024 and will reopen on January 2, 2025.

North Simcoe Sports and Recreation Centre 

• Closing at 12:00 p.m. on December 24, 2024 and will reopen on December 26, 2024. 
• Closing at 3:00 p.m. on December 31, 2024 and will reopen on January 2, 2025.

Mid-Pen Transit Service 

• No service December 25, 26, 2024 or January 1, 2025.
• Reduced service on December 24th and December 31st, 2024.
