The Town of Midland lowered the flags for the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S).
Annually on May 5, we honour and remember the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit People within our community and across Canada.
As a community, it is essential to raise awareness, advocate for justice, and take action to address the root causes of the ongoing violence and barriers against Indigenous peoples.
