The Town of Midland has several committees that provide input to Council to help bring about change or address local issues. As a citizen, joining a committee is a great way to meet new people, get to know your Council, and share your knowledge and expertise.

Temporary Road Closure - Easy St

Where: Easy Street, from Third Street to Fourth Street. 

When: July 25, 2023 7:00am to August 3, 2023 at 1:00pm

Detour: Road will be closed, utilize detours:

• Third St. to Hugel Ave. or to Yonge St. 

• Fourth St. to Hugel Ave. or to Yonge St.

Why: Sidewalk construction.

Today staff gathered with Deputy Mayor Jack Contin and representatives from Fierté Simcoe Pride to raise the Intersex-Inclusive Progress Pride Flag. 🏳️‍🌈🎉
 
This year’s theme is “We have always existed”. The existence of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community is not a recent phenomenon but rather an integral part of our history. Acknowledging and understanding this helps promote equity, respect, accountability, and acceptance for all individuals, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.

Temporary Delays and Detours - Midland Point Rd

Temporary Delays and Detours

Where: Midland Point Road

When: August 8, 2023 until Mid-October 2023.

Detour: Road will be open to traffic for a majority of the project. The road will be closed for culvert construction starting Monday, August 21, 2023 for approximately two weeks. 

• Residents on the west side of the road crossing culvert will have access to their homes at all times via Midland Point Road.
