What: The Town of Midland Intends to Pass a By-law to Remove a Holding "H" Symbol.

The Town’s Zoning By-law outlines the requirements for the removal of the Holding “H” Symbol. The requirements are:

1. Obtaining a Private Septic System Use Permit, Final Inspection Report or equivalent from the Chief Building Official or appropriate agency.
2. Entering into a Private Street Agreement with the Corporation.

The Owner of the subject lands has fulfilled these requirements and has applied for a Zoning By-law amendment to remove the Holding “H” Symbol.

Pursuant to By-law 2025-50, being the delegated authority By-law of the Corporation of the Town of Midland, the authority to lift a Holding “H” Symbol has been delegated to staff. As such, please be advised that the removal of the Holding “H” Symbol is to be completed 14 days after the circulation of this notice.
