“These projects are part of our commitment to improving Midland’s infrastructure” said Mayor Bill Gordon. “Plan ahead this summer and continue to support our local businesses, even if your route looks a little different.”
Residents in affected areas will be notified of project details before the work starts and of any major delays throughout the project. Members of the public can find project updates on the Town’s Construction Project webpage at midland.ca/Construction.
The Yonge Street Reconstruction project will kick off the season with closures starting the week of May 19, 2025. Drivers can expect delays due to reduced traffic lanes and closures taking place through May to November 2025. Businesses along Yonge Street will stay open, and access will be available during the project. For updates and more details, visit midland.ca/YongeReconstruction.
