Yonge Street Reconstruction Project

The Town's contractor will be coming back to site in early May to begin completing the Yonge Street Reconstruction Project. Work includes concrete sidewalk replacements, surface course asphalt, pavement markings, and boulevard restoration. Notices are being delivered to nearby properties.
Yonge Street underwent reconstruction and resurfacing from Second Street to Norene Street, King Street to Second Street and Norene Street to County Road 93. The project started in May 2025 and is anticipated to be complete Spring 2026.
This project includes:
- New sanitary sewer replacement and associated services.
- New watermain replacement and associated services.
- New barrier curb and gutter, restoration of all disturbed areas including driveways, topsoil, sod and surface elements.
- New asphalt from King Street to County Road 93.
- New cycling lanes.
