Municipal Closures observing Remembrance Day
- The Town of Midland Municipal office will be closed Monday, November 13, 2023. Regular hours will return Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 8:30am.
- No interruptions to the Mid-Pen Transit Service. Transit will be running on Saturday, November 11 and Monday, November 13.
For after-hour emergencies related to water, sewer or roads please call 705-527-8274.
Flag Lowering - Indigenous Veterans Day

The flags at Town Hall have been lowered to half-mast for Indigenous Veterans Day. Every year on November 8, we honour the immeasurable contributions and sacrifices made by First Nations, Inuit and Métis veterans.
Indigenous Veterans Day is a solemn occasion to recognize the unwavering courage and resilience exhibited by Indigenous service members.
Today we reflect on the profound impact of their service and express our deepest gratitude for their continued selfless commitment.

Temporary Lane Closure - Bayshore Dr

Where: Right turning lane on Bayshore Dr onto King St; from First Street to King St.
When: October 26, 2023 from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Detour:
- Safely turn onto King St from center lane on Bayshore Dr.

Utilize Bayshore Dr, to First St and continue onto King St.
Why: The fabricator for the Sown artwork has identified an engineering update to the structural portion of this artwork and is re-installing is being undertaken.

Sixth Street Parking Survey

Why are we reviewing Sixth Street Parking?-
Town Council received a deputation regarding parking concerns on Sixth Street in the area of Mundy’s Bay Public School and directed staff to review options.
