Where: King Street; rolling closures starting from Bayshore Dr to Little Lake Park Road.
When: July 1, 2024 from 10:00am to 11:00am.
Why: Civitan Canada Day Parade
Little Lake Park Road - Temporary Road ClosureWhere: Little Lake Park Road; starting from King Street to Yonge Street.
When: July 1, 2024 from 8:00am to after dusk.
- Little Lake Park Road will be closed until the Fireworks Display has ended.

Temporary Trail Closure - Section of Waterfront Trail

Where: Section of the Waterfront Trail parallel to Aberdeen Blvd.
When: Starting Friday, June 28, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. to Saturday, June 29, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.
Why: Maintenance along section of the Waterfront Trail.
Detour: Access point at Vas Kuchar Memorial Park and past Davenport St will be closed, use other paths.

It is with deep sorrow that the Town of Midland has lowered all Municipal flags to half-mast following the passing of Councillor Jim Downer. Councillor Downer passed away this morning, June 27, 2024. Our hearts and condolences go out to his family, friends, colleagues and the rest of our community.

Midland, book your ride to Balm Beach

Based off a Council directive, Midland residents can now book a seat on the public Balm Beach Shuttle, provided by Community Reach, for their Saturday beach trip to Balm Beach in Tiny, ON.
The first service is this Saturday (June 29, 2024), make sure you book by Thursday and secure your spot.
