Midland lowers flag for Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace

Today, staff gathered with Mayor Gordon to lower the flags at Town hall in observance of the Day of Mourning for Persons Killed or Injured in the Workplace, which takes place annually on April 28.
Mayor Gordon shared some words with staff to mark the importance of safety in the work place and held a moment of silence to pay respect to those who lost their lives or were injured while working.

Water and Wastewater Invoices Error - May Billing

Regarding May 2024 Water and Wastewater invoices:
It has been brought to our attention that some residents have received their Water and Wastewater invoice for the May billing however it may not have identified:
- if the meter reading is actual or estimated.
- if the customer is on a preauthorized payment plan (PAP).
The errors have been notified to our financial software service provider and we anticipate it will be corrected on the next billing date.
