Yonge St - Temporary Road Closure

Where: Yonge Street; starting from King Street to Queen Street. 

When: July 7, 2023 to end of July 2023.

Why: Additional road repairs. 

Detours: 

• Marked Detour Route #1: Yonge St, to King St, to Elizabeth St, to Manly and back on Yonge St.
• Marked Detour Route #2: Yonge St, to Manly St, to Elizabeth St to allow travel onto King St or back to Yonge St.

Motorists are to take caution of construction vehicles and workers. Access to homes and businesses will be maintained however there may be some delays. Please...

• No open air burning.
• Burn permits will not be issued.

David Onley Park Re-Dedication

The Town of Midland will honour the memory of The late Honourable David C. Onley with a tenth anniversary commemoration of the dedication of David Onley Park, locatedat Midland Harbour. 

David Onley Park Re-Dedication Date: Tuesday, June 20, 2023 Time: 10:30am  Location: David Onley Park, 475 Bayshore Drive, Midland

There will be free parking at the Harbour lot until 12:30pm on June 20, 2023.

This morning Town staff and Mayor Bill Gordon gathered with representatives from local organizations and agencies to recognize and educate on the social movement "Yes In My Back Yard” (YIMBY).
