Become an Event Vendor
Ready to showcase your products to an engaged and enthusiastic audience? Whether you’re a seasoned event vendor or joining us for the first time, this is your opportunity to connect with new customers, grow your brand, and be part of our lively events.
Each vendor must provide proof of liability insurance listing the Town of Midland as an additional insured for Commercial General Liability with a minimum limit of $2,000,000, and as required, Auto Liability coverage with a minimum limit of $1,000,000.00 combined single limit. A Certificate of Insurance must be provided a minimum of 4 weeks before the festival. Below are three companies that sell vendor insurance, however, you are welcome to use whoever you choose:

All vendors selling any food or drinks must be certified through the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit as well as obtain a Food Vendor Licence through the Town of Midland following the applicable deadlines noted on the applications.

Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival
On the second Saturday of June, our downtown core and waterfront parks host 200+ vendors and food trucks for Ontario's Best Butter Tart Festival presented by Chapman's! Vendor applications for 2026 opened on September 18, 2025 and closed on January 16, 2026 at 4:00 p.m.
Canada Day
On July 1, the Town of Midland celebrates all things red and white in Little Lake Park! Our Canada Day celebrations feature a full day of family-friendly fun, including the Midland Civitan Club's Canada Parade, live music, vendors, and activities for all ages. Vendor applications open until May 15, 2026.
Cruise Ships
The Town of Midland welcomes cruise ships and their passengers to one of Ontario’s most scenic waterfront destinations. We invite local artists and artisans who live, work and create in our community to showcase their products to cruise ship passengers and harbour visitors. Vendor applications closed April 24, 2026 at 4:00pm.
Georgian Bay Waterfront Festival
The Georgian Bay Waterfront Festival is a new, free, family-friendly two-day celebration of waterfront views, working tugboats, and stunning murals. Taking place August 8–9, 2026, in Downtown Midland and Harbourside Park, the festival turns the waterfront into a vibrant hub of art, music, and maritime excitement from morning to night.. Vendor applications open until June 30, 2026.
